What is hypnosis? How it actually works

In this episode we talk about what hypnosis is, what it isn't, and how it's used in coaching and mental training. We go through trance, NLP and self-hypnosis, and explain why hypnosis isn't about losing control, but about working with your subconscious.

A lot of people think hypnosis is something mysterious or dangerous. In reality, it's a natural state of focused attention. Once you understand how it works, you can use it to change thought patterns, emotions and behaviors.

In the episode you'll also get a guided exercise so you can try it for yourself.

Does self-esteem even exist? Or is it just confidence?

In this episode of Mentala Muskler we dig into the concept of self-esteem. We talk about why so many people mix up self-esteem and self-confidence, how performance and validation affect our sense of self-worth, and why we risk becoming what we do rather than who we are.

The conversation moves between psychology, leadership and personal development. We ask whether self-esteem is really something you "have" or "lack" – or whether it grows out of your relationships with other people.

We land on some concrete perspectives: how you can give yourself recognition, define what the concept means to you, and start building a more stable inner security – not through outside validation, but through conscious practice.

Prioritizing yourself – why does it feel selfish?

In this episode of Mentala Muskler we talk about balance, self-leadership and taking responsibility for your own wellbeing. We explore why so many people get stuck in work, performance and "solving everything themselves", while recovery, sleep and reflection end up at the bottom of the list.

We talk about why prioritizing yourself isn't selfish, it's necessary, and how language, thoughts and inner demands affect our wellbeing – and how small, conscious choices can change the direction of everyday life.

The conversation moves between mental health, stress management and personal development, with concrete perspectives on how you can start creating more space for yourself, without the guilt.
